RahavardZob `s zinc anodes manufacture from high purity virgin ingots of zinc . Before any metal is cast into anodes , a sample is drawn from the furnace to check the chemical analysis of the melt on an emission spectrograph which gives an instant read-out the composition of the alloy .

This must comply precisely with the requirements of the relevant specification before casting may commence .

Also , the mentioned anodes , comply with US military specification A-18001J , the trade standard in general use by quality anode founders worldwide . It is a reliable material which has demonstrated good service over many ears of experience . It is suitable for the full range of marine cathodic protection applications .

The other usable specifications for zinc anodes are BS3436 grade Zn1 , ASTM-B-418-73 type 1 & IPS-M-TP-750/3 .
